COMPLOT Based in Porto, COMPLOT atelier comes as a natural consequence of the collaboration that Miguel César Pereira and Vera Pereira Lopes have been developing in the field of architecture, retail and interior design. Focusing on spatial organization and design, COMPLOT provides a multidisciplinary service, accompanying the client in the process, from start to finish. The studio develops projects of different scales and purposes, practices that transit between identity, image, objects, interiors and buildings. The singularity inherent to each project means that COMPLOT has a unique creative philosophy, in which the spaces meet the client's intention, but always with a mark of authenticity, a result of travels and different experiences, - constant inspirations of their authors.
Miguel César Pereira (Porto, 1985) holds a degree in Architecture by FAUP - Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto (2011) and by E(ad) – Escuela de Arquitectura y Diseño de la Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile 2009/10).
Vera Pereira Lopes (Santa Maria da Feira, 1983) holds a degree in Arquitecture by UM - Universidade do Minho (2006) and by École d’Architecture de la Ville & des Territoires à Marne-la-Vallée (Paris, 2004/05).
The architectural approach of COMPLOT is based on location. This is the generator for everything - spaces, lighting and materials. Each project is unique, with its own identity, simultaneously true to the structuring principles of the atelier. COMPLOT is synonymous with detail. The projects are thought to the smallest attribute, from furniture design to lighting and textures, always aiming to transform banal situations or spaces into rich and unusual experiences.
COMPLOT develops retail projects from beginning to end, maintaining a holistic vision, addressing all the essential elements for the development of a point of sale, - architecture, visual merchandising, branding and design. From the creation of a functional layout, through the careful choice of materials and finishes, the entire project is developed with a focus on the DNA of each brand, always incorporating the latest world trends in architecture and design. COMPLOT approaches a retail project in all its facets, be it in the different solutions of display and valorisation of the product in the point of sale, storytelling, specific displays for standouts, differentiated displays, planogram or window dressing.
COMPLOT seeks to develop projects with a timeless aesthetic, focused on the quality and comfort of the spaces. It creates tailor-made environments, both at the domestic scale or hotel dimension, working the interior spaces with auteur furniture and lighting. The COMPLOT universe is unique, with an intimate and sophisticated vision, distinguished by irreverence in the choice of materials and finishes, transforming each project into a unique space.
